History of the 2nd Argylls

Saw this 2nd hand book online which was published in 1947 being the history of the 2nd Battalion of the the Argyll And Sutherland Highlanders during their campaign in Malaya against the Japanese in 1941 and 1942. Has anyone read it and would recommend it?

This is an excellent campaign history by the CO of the 2nd Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders in the Malayan campaign. Battle narratives,
battle maps and nominal rolls. I first read it in the 1980s and it was the inspiration for me to start my research on the Argylls in Malaya and find surviving veterans. This culminated in the book 'Moon over Malaya: a Tale of Argylls and Marines' which I co-authored with Audrey Holmes McCormick. 12 years on from that I am still meeting Argyll veterans from Malaya who we
didn't know were still around when our book was written. I believe that of the 800+ Argylls who served in Malaya only 4 remain.
I still hope to write about the 300+ Argylls and others who were in Pudu and Taiping Gaols as POWs in 1942.

2 Days Exploration of Kathmandu Valley
( 1st Day visit- Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Buddhanath 2nd Day Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square)
For the investigation of the legacies of high significance to comprehend the social and recorded wealth of the valley, we might have a guided tour in the Kathmandu valley.
We should most likely have the investigation of the antiquated Kathmandu Durbar Square to begin the voyage and set out toward the Swayambhunath Stupa, the fourteenth century Stupa which is apparently one the most established Stupa in Nepal. This is otherwise called Monkey Temple because of the blessed monkeys living in the north-west piece of the sanctuary.
Pashupatinath, a hallowed Hindu sanctuary arranged on the bank of the Bagmati River, approximately 5km north-east of Kathmandu, is another goal which has filled in as the image of confidence, conviction and devotion of Hindus. At that point we drive to Buddhanath Stupa which is one of the greatest and most seasoned Stupa on the planet.
On the other hand, there are many other heritages to be visited around Kathmandu valley. For the next day we can visit Patan Durbar Square situated at the centre of the city of Lalitpur in Nepal. One of its main attractions is the ancient royal palace where Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided.
Another heritage, Bhaktapur Durbar square is also one of the attractions of Kathmandu valley. Tourist's attraction is toward the pachpann jhyale durbar. It is situated 13km east of Kathmandu and also known as Bhadgaon. While the complex consists of at least four distinct squares (Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, Dattatreya Square and Pottery Square), the whole area is informally known as the Bhaktapur Durbar Square and is a highly visited site in the Kathmandu Valley.http://www.nepalholidaytreksandtours.com/blog/
